Lima Luxury Gastronomy Tour

Our culinary tour not only combines the best in gastronomy but also some great highlights to see while in Lima. Start your day with a half-day gastronomy tour in the morning at a typical Peruvian market. At this market, your guide will introduce you to Peruvian products such as exotic fruits from all areas of the country. After visiting the market you will be taken to the beautiful Cala restaurant that is located right on the Costa Verde where you will enjoy delicious Pisco Sours and Peru’s wonderful ceviche. The following day you will be taken to Miraflores Indian Market where you will be able to walk around and purchase local goods such as alpaca sweaters, silver pieces, art and much more, afterward, you will be taken to La Huaca Pucllana where you will dine around a 1,500-year-old pre-Incan ruin and able to tour after your dinner. Day three is a fun-filled adventure at the Gold Museum, lunch at Nanka‘s organic fusion restaurant, a visit to Larcomar’s oceanside mall and to top things off for the evening, dinner at one of Peru’s most famous restaurants Astrid & Gastón or Central. Today, on day four you will have a relaxing visit to the Museo Larco, considered a must- see by all editors and travel experts. Here you will be able to have lunch and view galleries displaying 3,000 years of development of pre-Columbian history. This includes gold, silver and an exhibition of eroctic pottery, dinner will be then enjoyed at Rafael a beautiful luxurious and chic restaurant. On your last day of your Discover the Flavors of Peru gastronomy tour you will be taken to the Pachacamac archaeological sanctuary in the district of Lurín where you will walk around the ruins that were first settled around 200 A.D. to continue your grand and final day you will go to Hacienda Mamacona where you will dazzle at some of Peru’s elegant Peruvian Paso horses and have a wonderful lunch before you are taken back to your hotel before having dinner at Maido for the last part of your tour.
